A quick-attack brush truck delivered to the Volga Fire Department.
Brush 2 is a quick-attack brush truck built for the Volga Fire Department on a 2023 Ford F-550 crew-cab 4x4. The department needed a rig that could move fast on a wildland call, carry a full load of gear, and put water down without waiting on a tender.
We wrapped the chassis in a custom enclosed aluminum diamond-plate body with four roll-up compartments, a rolled hose holder, and a top-of-tank basket. It carries a 400-gallon poly tank with an integrated 10-gallon foam cell, a CET mid-range pump, and twin Hannay electric booster reels off the back for fast, flexible attack lines.
Up front, a Thunderstruck bumper carries bumper sweeps and a removable Warn winch that moves front to rear as the job calls for it. From chassis to graphics, Brush 2 was designed and fabricated in-house at Midwest Design in Arlington, SD.
