A quick-attack brush body built for the Tolstoy Fire Department.
The Tolstoy Fire Department brought Midwest Design their 2002 Chevy 3500 ext-cab 4x4, and we built it a brand-new brush body from the frame rails up — turning a solid used chassis into a field-ready quick-attack rig.
The bed is a custom 96" x 115" aluminum diamond-plate flat bed on a 6061-T6 subframe, with two roll-up compartments, a slide-out G3 poly frame-rail tray for gear, and a rear above-rail compartment. A 400-gallon G3 poly tank feeds the attack, with a Honda-powered pump and M&T booster reel off the back and gated water-fill platforms on each side.
We finished it with a full Whelen V-Series warning package, an Able 2 57" LED light bar, interior compartment lighting, and chevron striping. Designed and fabricated in-house at Midwest Design in Arlington, SD.
